Benefits of being a member of our club

When you become a member of the Doggums Private Club you gain access to free stays alongside the dog walks that will be included each day. Your pup being with us means they will get lots of activity, enrichment, socialising and adventures. Every walk is a sniffari to be enjoyed. Either 2 – 1 hour walks or 3 – 40min walks. They will get to walk in all environments – parks, fields, dog play parks (private), towns, streets etc. This gets them used to everything around them. We sometimes have days out at the beach, around lakes, forests, woods etc.

The minimum compensation each day is £50

How to become a member

  • VERY IMPORTANT - Please review the T&C's below to ensure you agree with them before booking with us
  • Start by sending us an enquiry through our contact page, or email or text us to set up a meet and greet at our home
  • Please inform us of the dates you'll need our care services. School holidays always book up very early - we will stick to a max of 3 dogs at once to be able to maintain a high level of attention per dog
  • Share some information about your furry friend(s) (large dogs / dogs with additional care needs will incur additional compensation per day)
  • Your dog must be friendly with children and other dogs. Please do tell us all their quirks good or challenging before booking. We do prefer dogs that walk well on lead as they will be walked with others.
  • We will arrange a trial day to ensure your dog is happy with us and they settle.
  • We prefer to take dogs that are 1 year old (if younger and we agree to care for them additional compensation will be added per day) and above - who are fully house trained, neutered/spayed and must mix well with other dogs and children.
  • If you have more than one dog or an extra large dog, please do get in touch to discuss further as extra compensation will be added in these cases

Benefits of being a member

  • You will receive regular picture updates on your poochies time with us
  • We will follow your guidance on feeding times and treats, if your doggy needs to drop a few pounds, no problem we can help with that.
    We do have all natural treats we will share with doggies as well as fresh nutritious toppers to your dogs food if they can have a bit more and their activity is super high with us (you bring your dogs usual food for the time they are with us)
  • We will walk your doggie 2-3 times a day. We take the doggies everywhere with us, to the forest, parks, beach, woods, The Peaks, country parks, to visit my parents which all the doggies love
  • We can take dogs with boundless energy as we go on long walks and days out to the forest, meadows, parks etc
  • We may have dogs that crossover, we have to have dogs that can mix with other dogs. Peak times can be very busy with 3 dogs at once
  • We do have an 8yr old with us sometimes who is fab with doggies, so we do require a child friendly pooch

Please note and agree to the following:

T&C’s – The boring but necessary bit:

We are happy to take more than one dog from the same family, please do get in touch for minimum compensation for multiple dogs. 

Drop off – we are flexible with drop off times and will try to accommodate your required time period within reason. No matter the time of drop off, this will be a full days compensation. Please do stick to the time agreed as we have other scheduled dog walks to complete through the day

Pick up – before 10am on the last day is free, if collection is after 10am then there will be a full days compensation.

Compensation – compensation to be completed in full before drop off time. For the first confirmed booking with us we will ask for 50% compensation at the time of the booking and the remainder to be completed before drop off. For subsequent bookings after the first stay, we will then require compensation of £90 to secure the dates. If the booking is cancelled before 2 weeks of the date a full refund will be provided, after this time then the compensation will be lost.

Collection/Drop off – this can be offered at £10 compensation within an eight mile radius – further will be more.

Bank Holidays – £10 compensation will be added to the stay for days booked over bank holidays – this includes all Bank Holidays, Easter /  Christmas / New Year. 

We try to be as flexible as possible and understand how travel arrangements can change, so please do let us know as soon as possible if times / dates change or if there is a need to cancel your dog.

Medication – please do inform us of any medication your dog might need to be given.

Food – please do let us know the number of feeds / amount to be given and if your dog has any allergies to anything. Please provide all food and treats required. 

Veterinary details – please provide us with your veterinary details and contact number. We have a 24hr veterinary surgery in the village across from us in case of emergencies.

Behavioural worries – we ask that your dog gets along with other dogs and children. We would like to know if they have to be on lead or can be let off in safe areas (fields/parks/meadows etc). We know some dogs can have their little quirks so please do let us know of anything you think maybe necessary for us to keep an eye on. For example – random barking at people when out, a dislike of bikes, ball snatching, if it is safe to leave food on the side etc. 

Allergies/intolarences – We use only natural / homemade products in the house and have hard flooring downstairs. Please do let us know if there are any foods to avoid as well with your pooch.
